News Feed

What is an RSS Feed?

RSS feeds allow you to be notified when new content or news items have been added to websites (such as the CALL website or even the BBC website).

How do I start using RSS Feeds?

You will first need a 'RSS reader'. This is a piece of software that checks for new articles that have been added to subscribed websites. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. When you have chosen your RSS reader then you can select our news RSS feed or Blog RSS feed.

Where can I get an RSS reader?

Windows: SharpReader (Free)

Mac OS X: Newsfire (Free)

Browser: Firefox (Free)

Email Client: Microsoft Outlook 2007

How do I subscribe to the CALL News Feed?

Simply click on the RSS Feed icon (such as the News RSS feed icon in the News section on the home page) and click on the 'subscribe to this feed' link when the page appears.
