Service Level Agreements

These contracts and agreements are designed for situations where you expect to make greater use of CALL services than can be provided free through central funding.

The services we can provide for Scottish clients at no cost are outlined below:

  • Use of the CALL enquiry /advice service (telephone, written or face to face)
  • Use of the information service
  • Use of loan bank of equipment, software or videos
  • Use of assessment support service for pre-school, school age children, or adults on benefit
  • Use of the specialist reference library
  • Attendance at `open days´ for demonstration of products
  • Invited attendance at seminars relating to CALL
  • Participation/collaboration in CALL research projects.

If your needs are going to be greater than this,  entering into an agreement with CALL Scotland gives you access to reduced day rates for services such as:

  • In-Service days / courses / lectures / presentations by CALL staff as ‘visiting lecturers’
  • Commissioned assessments eg. of specific pupils (outside the Scottish Government funding provision) or by PACT, or institutes of FE/HE (for students eligible for Disability Allowances) or by lawyers seeking 'expert witness' evidence
  • Attendance at Study Days/courses/Conferences, etc.

Service Level Agreement and Partnership Agreements are recommended if the CALL Scotland service is to be used for a minimum of 5 days per year. If you expect to use less than this, then we would recommend purchasing CALL Scotland time on an as-and-when required basis. If you expect to use 5 or more days, then it will be financially advantageous to set up a service level agreement with CALL.  The upper limit of service we can provide is negotiable depending on staff availability and time.
