Service Level Agreements

Thanks to core funding from Scottish Government, a number of CALL services are provided for Scottish clients at no cost - these are listed below. Other services, such as training, can be purchased on a one-off, 'as and when required' basis.

Partnership/Service Level Agreements are valuable when you wish to make more extensive use of CALL services on an easy-access and ongoing basis. Entering into a 'Partnership'  or 'Service level' agreement with CALL Scotland establishes a relationship especially tailored to your authority's specific requirements, and is financially advantageous. The rates for 2011-2012 are £460 per day, plus travel /expenses (+ VAT, reclaimable).

A partnership agreement gives you access to reduced day rates for speciallst services such as:

  • CPD, training and In-Service days delivered in your location
  • In-depth specialist assessment and pupil support of specific pupils referred because of complex additional support needs

If you expect to use CALL Scotland services for 5 or more days per year, then it will be financially advantageous to set up a
'Service Level' or 'Partnership' Agreement.  A typical agreement would be for somewhere between 10 and 20 days. The upper limit of service we can provide is negotiable depending on staff availability and time. The contract is a agrement of intent: in the event of days remaining unused, you are not charged. Equally, you can add on additional days, if you need to.

If you expect to use less than 5 days, then we would recommend purchasing CALL Scotland time on an as-and-when required basis.

Free services for clients in Scotland include:

  • Use of the CALL information and advice service (website, email, phone, face to face)
  • Use of loan bank of equipment
  • Use of the specialist library
  • Receipt of updates by email, Newsletter, training course leaflets and fliers
  • Attendance at ICT and Inclusion and other free events for demonstration of products and seminars
  • Participation/collaboration in CALL research projects.
