CALL Assistive Technology (AT) Community

Posted by Craig Mill on the 17th November, 2016

CALL has created a new email forum, ‘CALL Assistive Technology (AT) Community’ an informal space for people with a common interest;

If you are a teacher, support for learning assistant, a professional in a supporting role, a practitioner, an A.T. supplier or a parent who is interested in supporting pupils with assistive technology, you are very welcome to subscribe to the email list.

A benefit of a community email forum is that it can save time searching through websites for questions or resources – hopefully there will always be someone who can help with a query.

A disadvantage of such a list is if there are numerous discussions, your inbox could quickly fill up, but you can set your preferences to read all the emails as a weekly digest.

Subscription is free and all that is required is your name and email address. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours before your invitation is accepted but we’ll do our best to ensure you are up and running as quickly as possible.

The forum is run and managed by JiscMail an established and trusted academic research service.
