The SL40 Connect is a new addition to the Lightwriter SL40 product range which replaced the much loved SL35. As well as providing text-to-speech communication capabilities through face to face communication or by Short Message Service (SMS) texting, it also now gives the user the ability to make mobile phone calls. This is achieved by using the voice synthesiser whilst making phone calls.
A hand, neck and waist strap can now also be attached to the SL40.
