Bobath Scotland have a couple of interesting events coming up in Glasgow next month.

First of all, on Wednesday 7th October they are holding their Annual Conference in the Radisson Blu hotel, Argyll Street, Glasgow to mark World Cerebral Palsy Day. This event is free and open to all. It will provide an opportunity for people to find out more about cerebral palsy and the services available to provide support across Scotland. There will also be opportunities to network with professionals and hear real life stories from families. CALL Scotland will have a stand in the exhibition accompanying the conference. Book a place online to attend.

Secondly, Bobath Scotland are hosting the annual British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists' Education Day at their centre in Glasgow. This will have a focus on 'Cerebral Palsy in Adolescence / Young Adulthood'. Parents and carers of young people with Cerebral Palsy are welcome to come for the morning session at no cost. There is a charge of £80 for education, medical, social-care and therapy staff to attend.

Further information is available on:

  • the BABTT web site
  • or contact Sandra at Bobath Scotland to book a place, Tel. 0141 352 5000.
