We are excited to announce the launch of our newest education resource, CALL's Eye Gaze Software Curve, which we hope will be a useful tool in supporting practitioners already working with Eye Gaze users and those about to embark on implementing this access method.

The Software Curve is an infograph signposting you to specific eye gaze software activities useful for building the progression of skills for eye gaze users. The software curve ranges from early sensory level activities right up to fully featured computer access and communication tasks. Eye gaze hardware solutions are also matched to the skills of users at each stage of the curve.

The infograph is available to print as an A3 poster, and also as a PDF with clickable links that take you to sources of information on the internet. The Eye Gaze Software Curve can be downloaded form the Posters and Leaflets page.

We have aimed to cover the most commonly used eye gaze compatible software and hardware, however the options listed are not exhaustive! There are more resources becoming available all the time and we will be updating the Curve to keep up with new developments, as appropriate.

You can find out more about the software curve and about Eye Gaze in practice by watching the archived webinar of our recent Eye Gaze Seminar, held her at CALL on Wednesday 30th September. The webinar is in two parts, the first containing information on the software curve as well as 2 case studies and the second part containing a 3rd case study and a Question and Answer session with a panel of eyegaze practitioners and suppliers. Watch the Eye Gaze in Education webinar here

We are also running a course 'Using Eye Gaze to Support Learning and Communication' on 5th November 2015 here at CALL Scotland, which aims to provide participants with the necessary skills to make the most of eye gaze technology in their own setting.
