iPad Management Survey

Posted by Craig Mill on the 23rd February, 2016

As the iPad increasingly grows in popularity as a teaching and learning tool, CALL would like to find out how iPads are being deployed and managed in local authorities and schools in Scotland.

CALL has decided to conduct an iPad Management survey, which we hope will help provide a national picture of the kind of difficulties and challenges, but more importantly potential solutions, that exist in Scottish local authorities and schools in the effective use of iPads in the classroom. This will include areas such as:

If you know who is responsible for iPad management in your local authority or school, I would appreciate it if you could pass the survey details to them. If you are that person, then I would be very grateful if you could complete the survey. There are approximately 25 questions which are mostly multiple choice, so hopefully it should only take about 5 minutes of your time:

Additionally, if you know of any innovate case studies or scenarios where iPads have been successfully deployed (overcoming potential barriers), please get in touch with craig.mill@ed.ac.uk.

iPad Management half day training session

CALL Scotland are running an iPad Management half day training session for all schools / authorities on 26th May 2016 here at Moray House, University of Edinburgh.

It will be a great opportunity to discuss all the issues raised in this survey and to hear from authorities where successful mobile device management is underway.  Details on how to sign up will appear very shortly on this website.

Any questions please contact shirley.lawson@ed.ac.uk.
