New Resources from SENICT

Posted by Claire Harrison on the 27th January, 2017

Many of you who work with learners who use switches as an access method will be familiar with Ian Bean, who over the years has produced many fabulous switch accessible activities. I’m sure I only have to mention ‘The Dancing Hippo’ and you’ll find yourself absent-mindedly humming ‘In the Jungle’!

Ian has revamped his SENICT website to include a new members area with a huge range of resources, downloads and links including,

…video tutorials, lesson plans, training resources and over 200 accessible activities for switch, touch-screen, pointing device and eye gaze users which you can download and use at home or in the classroom..

For staff wanting to engage in Professional Learning, Ian has also included many links and downloads to very useful further reading.  It looks to be a great resource and I’m sure people will appreciate having it all in the one place. To access these resources, you simply sign up to the members area, where you will then be able to play the activities online or download them for use at home and in the classroom, all entirely free of charge!
