FREE seminar for all teachers using iPads in the classroom

On Wednesday, 30th November 2016 CALL Scotland will be hosting a free half day seminar for teachers, learning assistants, support for learning staff - anyone who has access to iPads in an educational setting - with the focus on using the devices creatively to achieve learning objectives while achieving maximum student engagement and enjoyment.

CALL Scotland is therefore pleased to announce the release of a new resource; 'Using the iPad to Support Learners with Physical Difficulties' - an easy-to-use guide. This new guide adds to the CALL series of posters/guides.

First Minister's Reading Challange

The First Minister's Reading Challenge is an exciting new reading initiative delivered by the Scottish Book Trust on behalf of the Scottish Government. The Challenge is open to every pupil in Primary 4-7 in Scotland and opens on 1 September. Shirley is attending the Edinburgh regional event on 29th September and will be promoting CALL Scotland and signposting people to accessible versions of the texts. All Engaged, All Communicate, All Learn
