Boardmaker Plus! Version 6 - to Create Print Resources and Interactive Activities

Boardmaker is widely used for creating Picture Communication Symbols (PCS) resources. With symbols, you can create a ‘communication friendly school’ and build a supportive visual environment for pupils with ASD, learning difficulties or communication issues. You can create personalised communication resources for children/adults with any kind of expressive speech and language difficulty and comes with many templates covering most communication devices as well as templates for a wide range of activities - eg

  • Personalise materials by simply dragging and dropping familiar images from the internet, your digital camera or other sources.
  • Print and cut materials with the help of dashed lines that make cutting easy.
  • Create dynamic activities for counting, sorting, sequencing and more with movable buttons.
  • Make your boards scan and give auditory prompts to pupils who need switch access.
  • Link boards together into themed interactive units.
  • Try more than 250 sample boards and 50 interactive templates including communication templates and much more.
  • Download and share activities and materials on www.boardmakeronline.com
  • Use one of the 44 language translations to support students with English as a second language.
