IDL Dyslexia Software

Indirect Dyslexia Learning (IDL) is cloud based software which provides an individually tailored, unique, specialist dyslexia intervention programme.  IDL uses sight, sound, touch, and voice to improve reading and spelling. Links are made between the visual, auditory and tactile pathways. According to their research, ‘Reading and spelling ages rise, on average, by 11 months after 26 hours’.

In this webinar, Laura will explain how IDL automatically generates a starting point for pupils based on their individual reading and spelling ability. She will also demo the student experience of using the software: seeing the words on the screen, listening to them, typing and repeating, then reading aloud and listening back to their own voice. She will explain how it allows pupils to work independently from any location and work started at school can be continued at home. Find out how you can use IDL with a range of pupils and learn how it will increase their self-confidence and self-esteem.
