Chromebooks and Accessibility

Assistive apps and extensions are available for the Chrome Browser, and when used in conjunction with G Suite for Education, they provide excellent help for all students, including those with additional support needs in accessing the curriculum. These are therefore available on any device and any browser. Chromebooks are affordable, shareable, and secure devices which are great for learners for access to technology and of course Chrome apps and extensions.

In this webinar, Louise will talk about the range of built-in accessibility tools within G Suite and on the Chromebooks, as well as excellent web-based learning resources that can further meet students' individual learning needs. She will show how setting up a Google Classroom for your students can create a channel of communication that will hugely benefit students who need extra support. Louise will also discuss the importance of all learners having access to assistive apps to ensure an inclusive approach.
