Special iApps - educational apps for pupils with additional support needs

Special iApps develop educational apps that have been proven to encourage many areas of a child's development. Originally designed by Colin and Beverley Dean in the UK to teach their son who has Down syndrome and autism, they are now used widely around the world. They all have clear interfaces, no distractions and can be easily configured and personalised for the user.

In this webinar, Colin will demonstrate apps such as Special Words, Special Spelling, Special Sentences, Special Numbers and show what features of each app make them so suitable for learners who need support with communication, language, literacy, numeracy and fine motor skills.
