New Symbols for All Widgit Resources

Posted by Claire Harrison on the 2nd September, 2019

Widgit resources are now available to download from Symbols for All!

If your school or setting use Widgit symbols you can now search and download printable PDFs created with the Widgit Symbol set. This new set of printable resources has been created with older learners in mind, with the addition of new resources and adaptations to others. Just like the Symbols for All Picture Communication Symbol (PCS) resources all the Widgit resources are organised by curricular area giving you a starter set of ideas and activities to try with your learners. There are communication boards, step-by-step instructions, visual supports and more.

All of the Widgit resources were created using ‘InPrint3’. If you or your school own a copy of ‘InPrint 3’ you can download all the original files to edit and personalise them for your learners. To download a copy of all the InPrint3 files click the link in the box at the top of the ‘Curricular Resources’ page on the Symbols for All website

It’s easy to tell at a glance which symbol set a resource is made from as there is an icon next to each file name.

We’ve also added a ‘Search’ feature to make it easier to find what you are looking for. You can search by symbol set or key word or both.

We hope you find the Widgit resources a useful addition to Symbols for All!
