Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we'll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, in some cases, so we can comply with our legitimate and contractual obligations.

The University of Edinburgh may also disclose your personal information to any subsidiary of the University of Edinburgh, for the purposes in this privacy statement.
Retention of Short Course Platform user account data
The Short Courses Platform will delete your user account five years after the end of the last course on which you have enrolled, unless you enrol on another course in that period.

Retention of Eventbrite webinar user account data
Eventbrite may retain your Personal Data as long as you are registered to use their Services.
To delete your Eventbrite account, please visit the Account Settings page.
Retention of Contact Form data
We will delete your data after 18 months.
