ASL & Technology Conference 2025 - The Hybrid Model

Posted by Kirsteen Steven on the 20th March, 2025

Category Assistive Technology

Do you know what it's all about? We're back even bigger and better than ever for 2025! We are delighted to say that on 11th June 2025 our ASL & Technology Conference is returning as a face-to-face event.

Don't be disheartened though if you're not within commutable distance of Edinburgh, we have you covered too! We will be live streaming all the workshops on the day, and if you are not able to join us live we will also be recording all of them as well.

Where will the conference be held?

It is our intention that the Conference will take place within Paterson's Land, Moray House, University of Edinburgh. We are awaiting confirmation from the University of the exact rooms, but hopefully this will be confirmed very soon.

Why should I attend #ASLConference25?

We all now appreciate the opportunity to speak to people face to face and on 11th June you will be able to speak directly to a huge variety of assistive communication and technology suppliers, as well as have hands on trials of hardware and software. We have listened to past feedback and our timetable this year has presentations from both Primary and Secondary practitioners as well. Join them to hear how accessibility tools make their classrooms an inclusive learning environment for all.

For those of you not able to make it along in person, but able to join us online, you will be able to use the chat function to ask any questions to the workshop presenters that you might have.

And, for those of you not able to join us live on the day, the contact details for the presenters will be shared on presentation slides so you can always reach out to the presenters at a later stage.

Who should attend?

And there's more!

Our exhibitors have kindly donated many prizes, including licences to software, that will be available in the prize draw at the end of the day. Not only will you leave feeling excited, inspired and motivated with plenty takeaways to trial yourself, you may even win a prize!
