Help empower a positive shift in systematic mindset by participating in our research - exploring attitudinal barriers to successful AAC implementation.

Implementing new strategies invariably involves addressing challenges and identifying solutions. The introduction and implementation of AAC strategies and tools are no exception.

At last year's Communication Matters Conference, I met a group of Scottish AAC advocates with backgrounds in education, speech and language therapy and lived experience. We came together to form the Scottish AAC Geeks. At this year's conference we will be delivering a workshop exploring attitudinal barriers to successful AAC implementation.

Our aim is to collate actionable strategies to empower a positive shift in systematic mindset.
