Curious about 3D printing? Want to design and build your own assistive technology switch?

If you support children and young people who use Assistive Technologies like switches, or you’re intrigued by the possibilities of 3D printing, then we’d love for you to join us for our very first CALL Scotland Maker Day, hosted at the University of Edinburgh.

This hands-on day is designed for complete beginners - no previous experience with 3D printing required. You’ll get a friendly introduction to the process, learn about assistive technology tools that can be 3D printed, and design your own button-style switch. We’ll guide you through each step: from designing and slicing, to printing and even soldering, so you can leave with your very own custom-made, fully functioning switch.

Spaces are limited, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To find out more or secure your place, please send an email to claire.harrison@ed.ac.uk
