CALL Scotland will have an exhibition stand at Bobath Scotland's World Cerebral Palsy Day Conference at the Hilton Hotel, William Street, Glasgow G3 8HT on Wednesday 4th October.
The conference, sponsored by Digby Brown Solicitors, is free to attend, very friendly and relaxed - you don't have to stay all day if you have other things you need to do. Although aimed primarily at people with cerebral palsy, much of the day will also be relevant for other people with disabilities and their carers.
The exhibition will have representatives from around thirty companies and organisations, including disability organisations, equipment suppliers (including communication aid suppliers) and activity groups that support people with disabilities. There is also a full programme of talks, workshop sessions and feedback sessions where you can have your say on services. Aileen Campbell, Minister for Public Health will be speaking at 11.30 am.
