Bookbug P1 Family Bag 2024 Symbolised Resources - available to download now!

CALL Scotland's award-winning symbol resources to accompany Scottish Book Trust's P1 Family bag books are now available to download from the Symbols for All website.

The 4 books will be gifted to every P1 child in Scotland as part of the Primary 1 Family Bag in time for Book Week Scotland, which runs from the 18th to 24th of November, 2024.

The four books in this year's bag are:

• 10 Dogs
  by Emily Gravett (Author) 
• The Bongles and The Crafty Crows
  by Oscar van Heek (Author), Dean Queazy (Illustrator) and Viola Madau (Designer)
• The Eyebrows of Doom
  by Steve Smallman (Author), Miguel Ordonez (Illustrator)
• The Quickest Bedtime Story Ever!
  by Louise Fitzgerald (Author) and Kate Hindley (Illustrator)

The symbol resources are available for anyone to download and use with their children or learners who have communication support needs, English as an Additional Language or early level literacy skills. These include a symbol supported Teaching Activity to go with each book.

There are printable PDF symbol resources as well as digital talking communication boards for the Free communication app SoundingBoard.

There are also Clicker writing resources and Grid 3 eye gaze enabled writing resources, specific to each book, available again this year. These can be used with Clicker 8, Clicker Writer app, Grid 3 and Grid for iPad app.

So, plenty of NEW ready-made Bookbug symbolised resources to use with your learners!
