Calling all Pupil Support Assistants!

Posted by Shirley Lawson on the 1st September, 2021

Are you supporting pupils with Additional Support Needs who are using iPads, chromebooks or Windows laptops?

Have you been provided with specific assistive technology training and support to do this effectively?

We know and appreciate the vital role Pupil Support Assistants play in supporting learners and yet due to time and resource pressures, relevant support and training for these staff are not readily available.

Until now! Please sign up for our new online learning workshop on 30th September at 4pm:

Inclusive Practice through technology: An overview for Pupil Support Assistants

We will explore a range of assistive technologies that can provide a pathway to raising attainment, supporting literacy difficulties, giving greater independence to pupils and to raising self esteem.

We aim for the session to be relaxed, informative and interactive - it's ideal for those who are completely new to assistive technology. Teachers and parents are welcome too, it’s a great chance to learn some of the basic features of the devices that are out there in schools and to understand how they help all learners reach their full potential.
