Who are the modules for?

They are aimed at:

The modules are ideal for anyone who would like to learn more about the potential of technology and readily available built-in features and tools found in devices such as Windows and iPads.

They are pitched at an introductory level but hopefully there will be something new to learn for experienced practitioners.

Presented in a colourful and engaging multimedia format with a mix of reading material, video tutorials, quizzes and interactive activities, the modules are browser based and are compatible with a range of devices and render beautifully on tablet devices and smartphones.

Types of devices used to study, computer, tablets, smartphones

You can choose to browse through the modules at your own pace but for the best experience we recommend you use a device to work through the video tutorials and step-by-step illustrated guides.

With a simple naviagtion structure and symbols indicating additional reading, external links, video turorials there's plenty to keep you occupied.

Depending on how much time and depth you choose to study, it is estimated that each module will take between 3 - 6 hours to complete.

Will I receive a certificate?

On completion of each module, you will receive a digital badge and a ‘Certificate of Completion’ to evidence your learning.

Where can I find the modules?

All the modules are available on the CALL Scotland site - get ready to start learning!

AAC Modules

Don't forget our popular AAC modules are available on the AAC Scotland section of the CALL website - a series of 2 online learning modules on Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

The modules are aimed at services, teams or individuals to review their current knowledge and develop best practice, and to ensure positive outcomes for people who use AAC.
