Free places on our 10 week Technology to Support ASN in Education course

We're thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for Scottish educators and professionals working with learners who have Additional Support Needs (ASN). Thanks to additional funding from Scottish Government, we are offering a limited number of free places on our short study courses.

Free places are now available on our 10-Week Technology to Support ASN in Education Course.

This is the first time we've been able to offer free places on this course, and we're excited to open the doors to more passionate individuals who want to make a difference through inclusive technology. We are starting with our  highly regarded 10-week online course, Technology to Support ASN in Education, which will be commence on 10th February 2026.

This innovative course is designed for those working in education who want to deepen their understanding of how technology can support learners with ASN, including:

Access to technology can transform learning experiences for pupils with ASN - but it's not just about having the right device. It's about knowing how to use it effectively, choosing the right tools, and creating accessible learning environments.

How to Apply

If you're a Scottish educator interested in one of these spaces and are able to commit to attending the course, please express your interest via email to Kirsteen.steven@ed.ac.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 5th November 2025.

Due to the limited number of free places available, if interest exceeds capacity, places will be allocated via a ballot to ensure fairness and equity.
