FREE seminar for all teachers using iPads in the classroom

Posted by Shirley Lawson on the 21st September, 2016

CALL Scotland will be hosting 'Creative and fun learning using iPads'  a free half day seminar for teachers, learning assistants, support for learning staff – anyone who has access to iPads in an educational setting – with the focus on using the devices creatively to achieve learning objectives while achieving maximum student engagement and enjoyment.

Date:  November 30th, 2016 (9.30am - 12.30pm)

Venue:  Thomsons Land, University of Edinburgh

We are running this event in support of the many schools across Scotland who have purchased iPads to help raise attainment for their learners through the use of educational apps.  We want to address the problem that has been occurring when, after the initial excitement of using them, there is quite often a lull as they become everyday classroom objects.

The CALL Scotland assistive technology team and external presenters will give you demonstrations, ideas, tips and tricks to make the most of your school iPads.
