Earlier this week colleagues commented that the Stuart computer voice pronounces some words incorrectly - "cereal" and "lasagne" were mentioned and sure enough, these words do sound weird.
It is possible to change the pronunciation of individual words, and so we are looking for your help to identify any vocabulary that is not spoken correctly.
If you know of any words that aren't spoken correctly, please go to our Teach the Voice page and fill in the form to let us know. We'll collate the list of words, pass them on to CereProc, the creators of the voices, and then make the new voices available for download, so that you can be more confident on future visits to your favourite Italian restaurant.
Please alert friends, colleagues and users of communication aids and text-to-speech software and encourage them to tell us about any unusual utterances.
