There has been a great deal of talk about moving from face-to-face teaching to online. With the latest news from the Scottish Government that schools are to close at the end this week, there is a greater urgency to transition from class-based to online teaching and learning.
Glow will provide many of the tools you need (assuming teachers and pupils can access the internet at home), particularly collaborative tools such as Microsoft
However, if you are unsure how to use these tools or how to maximise the potential of online learning, Microsoft is offering a free webinar ‘Remote Learning in K12’ as part of the Microsoft UK EduDay Event - this Friday (March 19th) at 4pm.
The webinar will cover a range of Microsoft tools such as ‘getting started with Microsoft Teams’, ‘how to hold video meetings’, 'how can I monitor what work my students are doing?’ and much more.
To find out more and register your place visit the EduDay site.
Once a month we'll send you an email with news, research and thoughts, as well as training courses and free webinars you may wish to attend.
