We were so pleased to be asked to deliver a workshop at Scottish Book Trust’s recent Sharing Sensory Stories Author Lab.
The 10 authors involved got their hands on our Bookbug Shared Reading symbol resources and accessible digital books and got the chance to experience communicating using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in accessible story sessions.

We hope that these fabulous authors will now be able to use this experience of AAC to enhance their storytelling and help make reading even more accessible to learners with a print disability and those who have communication support needs.
Good practical tips and ideas for the nuts and bolts of running sessions and introduction to so many resources/potential props. Had no idea of the amount of digital resources.
