92 page PDF book - published 1998
This downloadable book is an accessible and comprehensive introductory text which should be of interest to those with little, if any, prior knowledge of augmentative communication, and useful for students and staff development. It provides an overview of current techniques and technology, and is intended to be a resource for practical use. It includes revised and updated versions of selected material from an earlier published 'Introduction' and 'Collected Papers'.
Note: This book was produced by Augmentative Communication in Practice: Scotland, an open group composed of people who have an active interest in augmentative communication, including users of AAC, families, carers and professionals from a variety of different disciplines. The main activity is the organisation of an annual Study Day on AAC. The CALL Scotland publishes this book on behalf of the group.
Once a month we'll send you an email with news, research and thoughts, as well as training courses and free webinars you may wish to attend.
