Raising Attainment

Raising attainment in literacy is a key priority for the National Improvement Framework, the Scottish Attainment Challenge and Pupil Equity Funding and so speech recognition technology must be one of the tools we should be considering to support learners.

Schools will have a wide range of available technologies and all will have speech recognition functionality whether it’s in-built or using a particular piece of software or free web-based application such as Google Docs.
