Creating Learning Resources with Symbol Supports, What are the Options?

In this this webinar Claire will give an overview of software, websites and apps which are useful for creating symbol supported learning resources for learners with communication difficulties, autism and complex learning needs.

Whether you want to create your own bespoke activities or use high quality ready-made resources which can be used immediately or edited to suit your learners, you will be encouraged to think about which solutions are the most appropriate for your setting. Claire will explore various options, look at the different symbol sets and show practical examples of high and low-tech printed and interactive resources which can be created and used to support communication and access to the curriculum. During the webinar you will also have the opportunity to think about key questions and considerations for a school or local authority who are wanting to purchase symbol software.
