Scanning Pens

Scanning Pens are award winning electronic reading aids that empower students to read independently, build confidence and help to unlock their potential. It is a device that could provide a dyslexic learner with a discrete level of text to speech support if they struggle to read digital text on paper.

In this webinar, Jim will do a live demonstration of the devices and give a complete run through of how to use the pens in the most effective way. The ExamReader pen is SQA approved and can be used as part of your pupils' access arrangements.

You will learn about their free resources available to use with the Scanning Pen and find out about The Big Book Talk, their exciting new campaign that encourages young people to discover a love of reading despite their literacy challenges.

Jim will explain how you can arrange a free trial for schools or for home use and show the excellent Introduction and User Guide to get you started.
