Inclusive Learning Environments

23

9th November, 2023 (4:00pm - 5:00pm)

£30 per individual.

60 minute Online Learning workshop.

Do you provide an inclusive learning environment which maximises the chance of your learners with ASN succeeding?

Most schools will have some elements of the learning environment which are inclusive and many more would like to know what else they could do to provide a fully inclusive learning environment. Effective use of assistive technologies is a key component in providing such an environment. In this workshop, Shirley Lawson, an Assistive Technology and ASN Teacher on the CALL Team, will discuss and demo a variety of tools and strategies which can provide your pupils with the best possible chance of reaching their potential and becoming more independent learners.

Shirley will provide a checklist of key features that create an inclusive learning environment and signpost you to resources which will help you to work towards that goal. This can be applied to both primary and secondary school settings.

This course was held on the 9th November, 2023 but you can still purchase a recording of the session.
You'll also receive all the resources that were sent out with the course.
