iPad Apps for Dyscalculia and Numeracy Difficulties

CALL Scotland’s Wheels of apps and other posters have proven to be very popular in recent years, with many thousands of downloads to parents, teachers and other specialists working with people with disabilities. In this webinar, Allan will show how to find and download our latest app wheel - iPad Apps for Learners with Dyscalculia / Numeracy Difficulties - from the CALL web site and will explain the rationale behind the design. He will use the electronic version to find out more information from iTunes on the individual apps that have been included.

He will give brief demonstrations of some of the apps that have been included in the wheel, including apps that can help develop early number awareness, familiarity with basic operations, the use of manipulatives and the use of other techniques that can help young learners with numeracy difficulties.
