Gillian will describe and demonstrate useful tools for supporting pupils with complex communication needs/difficulty who are using symbol-based AAC apps or software with core vocabulary content. This will include the AssistiveWare Core Word Classroom, Pathways for Core First and other resources for planning communication goals, selecting words to teach and identifying activities for practice.
