Presenter(s): Gillian McNeill, CALL Scotland

This webinar will explore different options for people with physical difficulties to access and control a computer or communication aid. Whether a small movement of hand, head or foot to select a switch for example, alternative pointing devices such as joysticks or using eye movements with eye gaze cameras, a range of alternative options will be described. We will explore different tools and resources for assessment of an individual’s needs, which can be used to facilitate identification of an appropriate access method.

This webinar will be of interest to those working with children, young people and adults with physical difficulties, who wish to access computer technology.
