Presenter(s): Gillian McNeill, CALL Scotland

Launched in August 2019, the Scottish children's computer voices allow pupils with disabilities in Scotland to access a relatable age appropriate voice for reading and listening to educational and information resources. For those with communication difficulties and with voice output communication aids, they can be used when speaking with others. In this webinar, Gillian will provide an update on integration of the children's voices within educational software and technology, and within voice output communication aid apps and software. She will show which voices are available, as well demonstrating how to download a voice and select for use.
