North Lanarkshire Communication Friendly resources

NLC Communication Friendly are a trio of teachers who passionately believe in the benefits of visuals for all. They created their team just before lockdown to share resources with their local schools. The popularity of these resources has been incredible and they are now being shared and used worldwide.

Frances, Lynne and Moya will be talking about how to start the journey of becoming a communication friendly environment and how visuals can be used to support learning, communication and to ease anxiety. They will be looking at different examples of how visuals can be adapted to suit individual needs as well as for a wider audience. They will be showing their high quality resources and discussing how they can support your pupils with additional support needs.
