Presenter(s): Jacob Holden, SpecialEffect
SpecialEffect is a charity based in Oxfordshire that provides video game access to individuals with physical disabilities through means of specialised equipment, including controllers, joysticks and switches. Each setup is completely tailored to the individual based on their functional movements and the games they would like to play, meaning every setup is unique. Each assessment is carried out by the service delivery team, which comprises of occupational therapists and specialist technicians who specialise in video game accessibility.
In this webinar, Jacob will outline how SpecialEffect helps provide access to gaming, and will also share case studies on people they have helped to showcase their setup and explain the equipment that is being used. He will also discuss some of the accessibility options within some of the games being played in our case studies.
Once a month we'll send you an email with news, research and thoughts, as well as training courses and free webinars you may wish to attend.
