Technology and Dyslexia - Supporting reading beyond school

Learners with dyslexia in high school can become apprehensive about how the next step in their journey will go. Whether it is on into Further or Higher Education, straight into the workplace or having a gap year to decide what they want to do, it’s important that they take with them the supports and strategies they have used in school to support them with literacy tasks.

In this webinar, Shirley will demo how they can continue to use the assistive features of their phones, tablets and computers to support reading, writing and organisation. The main focus will be on how these tools can help them to be independent students and employees thus giving them confidence that life beyond school is going to be a positive experience.
