Presenter(s): Paul Nisbet, CALL Scotland
There are many assistive technology tools that can help a student with dyslexia and it can be a challenge to work out which, if any, are likely to be helpful. How do we identify whether for example text-to-speech, speech-to-text, changing screen or text colours and fonts, Immersive Reader, mind-mapping, word prediction, spellchecking, etc might be helpful? How do we narrow down the options and evaluate technology tools to determine which meet an individual learner's needs?
In this webinar Paul will explore some strategies for teachers, parents and learners to use to think about how we can match suitable assistive technology tools to additional support needs, and to evaluate their impact.
Once a month we'll send you an email with news, research and thoughts, as well as training courses and free webinars you may wish to attend.
