Presenter(s): Kirsteen Steven, CALL Scotland
Many autistic learners enjoy using iPads. They often have technology skills to enable them to navigate the device sufficiently for entertainment purposes but how can these devices be used for communication, learning activities and work-related tasks that will support and develop their independence?
In this webinar Kirsteen will explore a range of assistive technology options that can support autistic learners within the context and principles of the SCERTS framework. The SCERTS® Model is a research-based educational approach and multidisciplinary framework that directly addresses the core challenges faced by children and persons with ASD and related disabilities, and their families.
Once a month we'll send you an email with news, research and thoughts, as well as training courses and free webinars you may wish to attend.
