The most powerful tool we have to stop inequality is to give children access to language and to teach reading.
- In this webinar we will explore how to develop language, relationships and a love of reading using six evidence-based interaction strategies and wordless books.
- We will look at how to use wordless books with non-speaking pupils to develop connection and language as well as volitional reading experiences.
- We will discuss how to enact 'the least dangerous assumption' and give all pupils regardless of their starting points access to a rich text and book based curriculum and why this is so important for all learners.
