Talking in Exams Project Roundup - Using Dragon Software in Exams

In June 2015 CALL Scotland ran some free Professional Learning sessions for schools and services, where attendees learned how to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 Pro, and considered how speech recognition could be introduced to learners. This project has been running for almost a year, and Shirley will look back at lessons learned from the schools, including introducing speech recognition to a young person, tips and ideas on using speech recognition in a school setting, and exploring why speech recognition software can be a lifesaver to young people struggling to get their thoughts down on paper. She will also demonstrate Dragon software.
