Creating Accessible Documents in Word

Microsoft Word is available in most Scottish schools. For many pupils the default setup can be challenging, particularly for reading and notetaking. Craig will show how with a few tweaks ‘under the bonnet’ Microsoft Word can be transformed and personalised to suit a range of learning needs. He will explain how to customise background colours, set default font sizes and styles, use keyboard shortcuts to quickly change line spacing, and create and save Word Templates. Craig will also demonstrate how to install and use WordTalk and other Word Add-ins.
