Our highly-rated online professional learning modules have been refreshed with a slick, engaging, and modern interface. Over the past two years, more than 300 participants have benefited from these modules, consistently providing extremely positive feedback.
One particularly enthusiastic comment came from a secondary school teacher who, after completing the 'Technology to Support Dyslexia' module, stated "it's an excellent module that every teacher should enrol on!" (Scroll down for more testimonials.)
These modules offer a comprehensive learning experience through short informative videos, colourful illustrations, interactive quizzes, relevant research articles, and helpful links.
They explore a range of universally accessible built-in tools, alongside some specialist apps and programs.
You'll also find dedicated sections on artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to support learners with additional support needs, especially dyslexia. The core focus is on maximising the accessibility features integrated into Windows devices, iPads, and Chromebooks.
There are 4 modules in total:
The modules are aimed at those who are new to technology and would like to learn and discover how technology, both mainstream (devices) and assistive technology can support learners with additional support needs, for example;
Anyone who has an interest in learning about the potential of technology to support learners with additional support needs (ASN)!
After completing the module you will receive a digital badge and certificate to evidence your learning.

I don't directly work with Dyslexic pupils HOWEVER a lot of it also applies to many different issues students face so I liked that the information is transferable to just about all students
It has expanded my knowledge on AT. I particularly liked the prediction function available through Windows
The variety of ways the information was delivered and the videos used to show the different types technology. It was good to see the many different types of technology I use in my own teaching and some that I didn't know a lot about but will be further investigating them
Top work, whoever has produced this module - again, really enjoyable and informative
An excellent module and well worth doing. I feel better equipped with technology I already use and new types of technology
Thank you. I now have a broader knowledge of other assistive technologies to use with my pupils
