Special Apps for Very Special Learners

The wonderful Flo Longhorn has been producing new  updates to her 2012 book, iPads, Apps and Very Special Learners, with information on some apps that are currently available to support very special learners, typically with complex additional support needs. 

The latest of these updates is from January / February 2021 and is available from Flo's new downloads site.  Four previous updates, dating from May 2020 onwards are also available directly from Flo. The main focus is on iPad apps, but Flo makes the point that many of the same apps are also available for Android tablets from Google Play. Most of the apps featured in the updates are free, or low cost.
