We are using the current COVID-19 restrictions as an exciting opportunity to move our Professional Learning courses online at least until up to December 2020.

These courses would normally be delivered at the University of Edinburgh.  Sometimes it can be difficult for teachers to get class cover to attend and also for those not in the central belt of Scotland, attending a physical course can be geographically prohibitive so the move to 90 minute online learning workshops is a positive, inclusive and creative step to allow more people to access these valuable training opportunities.

The cost of each course will be £40 and there will be a maximum of 20 participants per course which will enable everyone to have an interactive collegiate learning experience.

A list our our latest courses

What you will get

  • 90 minutes of quality Professional Learning which can be linked directly into Professional Enquiry and your exploration of assistive technology to improve the outcomes for your pupils with additional support needs
  • A recording of the 90 minutes training session which you can refer back to whenever you want (for personal use only)
  • An Open Badge to evidence your participation in the course
  • A CLPL certificate which can be directly uploaded to myGTCS Professional Update
