Are you looking for a job where you can use your skills and passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive technology? The CALL Scotland team are delighted to announce WE ARE HIRING and the job could be meant for you!

The official title of the role is AAC Specialist Speech and Language Therapist/Teacher.  This post is for a senior member of staff within the long-established CALL Team.  We are based at University of Edinburgh and our work takes us all over Scotland.

Responsibilities include:

• providing AAC and assistive technology assessment and support to a caseload of individual learners;  
• providing consultancy to (predominantly) special schools, units and bases, around AAC and assistive technology; 
• managing delivery of CALL services to approximately four local authorities;  
• creating learning resources and informational materials;  
• contributing to strategic planning to meet CALL, University and Scottish Government objectives.
