At CALL Scotland we are aware that many services in Scotland providing AAC are being asked to provide a Data Protection Impact Assessment(DPIA) for data protection regulation. The good news is that Scottish Government have recently made a shared document available for those working in health to use.

We were so pleased to be asked to deliver a workshop at Scottish Book Trust's recent Sharing Sensory Stories Author Lab. The 10 authors involved got their hands on our Bookbug Shared Reading symbol resources and accessible digital books and got the chance to experience communicating using AAC.

CALL have two 5 week self study courses starting in Autumn 2023. The 5 week Technology to support dyslexia course is in its third year and the new one on offer will a 5 week course on Technology to support reading and writing for learners with complex needs.
